DESIGN BRIEF
Software involved:

A video game project adapted from H.C. Andersen’s fairy tale—Tinderbox. In this project, I worked as a production designer who is responsible for the design of the overall color flow, environment, characters, keyframes, etc.

MOOD BOARD
FORMAT
The project's design was inspired by Japanese culture, incorporating elements from its unique architecture, traditional clothing, and diverse environments. This approach created an authentic and immersive experience for the audience.
Inspired by "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening," The game's animated aesthetic aligned with my project's narrative, facilitating the incorporation of Japanese elements.
WORLD SETTING

In my project's universe, advanced technology is widespread, yet a magic-ruled kingdom exists within it. This realm, known as the Mushroom Kingdom, serves as the setting for our story. The mystical powers of this domain generate mushroom energy capable of transforming individuals into mushrooms...

The terrifying magic comes from this—The Tinderbox. Tinderbox in reality is used to generate fire, and the DNA could be seen as the sparkle of human life. So the design of my tinderbox combined these two ideas to become a vital item in the story.
